Or get a Duramax :Dif you dont truly need the diesel then the 6.2 or 3.5 would be the best option. duramax, cummins or powerstroke, they are all way to expensive to operate these days in my opinion. you used to buy a diesel because the fuel was cheap, they got great fuel mileage and the maintenance costs were minimal. now the engine costs almost an extra 10K, they get horrible fuel mileage, the fuel per gallon costs more than gas and the maintenance costs are ridiculous. 125,000 on a 2005 6.0 and not a hint of a problem.
